Step 1: Full Surface Preparation

There are many stages to our first step. In preparing a vehicle's surface for receiving one of our paint protection film packages, an initial exterior hand wash is used to remove all loose dirt and grime. Next, we add chemical decontaminants to this process, such as iron removers, that will eradicate embedded particles from the surface of your vehicle. Following that, an intense claying process is performed which captures and removes any remaining microscopic contaminants, making the paintwork EXCEPTIONALLY smooth. After claying, the surface is wiped down one last time and inspected for any residual messes, oils, or contaminants, ensuring a clean base for the PPF you selected. Finally, the vehicle is thoroughly dried and inspected to confirm that it is completely free of defects that can be remedied by our paint correction process.

To assist in positioning the film accurately, a slip solution is misted onto the designated surface area of the vehicle so flexibility is available. Following this, the backing of each PPF piece is peeled away from the adhesive side, and the hand application can begin! Your film is cautiously aligned and laid onto the surfaces that have been prepared and moistened with the aforementioned slip solution, allowing the film to adhere smoothly and uniformly. We can also easily move each film piece around BEFORE it adheres so it is perfectly positioned on your ride.

Step 4: Surface Squeegee and Finish

Utilizing an industry-grade squeegee, our PPF technicians meticulously work to eliminate any common air bubbles and excess slip solution trapped between the paint and your selected paint protection film package. This step sounds simple, but it is EXTREMELY crucial for achieving a secure, bubble-free adherence of a PPF to the vehicle's surface. After the film has been thoroughly smoothed to perfection by this process, it now enters the curing phase. Curing means that the film pieces form an effective, lasting bond with the vehicle's painted surfaces, solidifying the film's grip on those areas and ensuring that it acts as a sufficient, durable, protective, and flexible layer.
